How to Save Money by Slashing Your Overheads!
There are all kinds of reasons why you may need to save money:
You want to put your kids through school.
You want to buy your first
home.
You’re out of work and can’t find a job.
You have a lot of debt of
one form or another.
You’re struggling to make the payments on your
house.
You’re struggling to make the payments on your apartment.
You’re struggling to make the payments on your car.
You’re struggling to make the payments on your boat.
You’re insolvent.
You’re bankrupt.
I’m always amazed at people’s reactions when they first realise that house sitting is not a bad way of life and secondly that it can save them a great deal of money and get them out of their financial problems.
The thought of no longer having to pay rent, utility, internet connection or television charges and often not even their phone calls, paying only for what they eat and drink and a few travel costs suddenly comes riding over the horizon to give as much relief as those being rescued at the last moment by John Wayne
and the US Cavalry must have felt.
If you have your own home and you take up house sitting you could rent it out and use that income to either pay off your debts or for whatever you want to.
